PROVIDENCE — A series of coordinated arrests by various law enforcement task forces have led to the apprehension of multiple individuals on charges ranging from domestic assault with a deadly weapon to bank fraud.
On Nov. 14, K Lone D. Alves, 35, was arrested by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on charges stemming from a Central Falls Police Department warrant for domestic assault with a deadly weapon.
Alves, a resident of 21 Alma Street in Providence, was taken into custody and handed over to the Central Falls Police Department by Providence Police members.
The same day, Isaac Rosario, 19, was arrested without incident by members of both the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section.
Rosario, whose last known address was 12 Lowell Avenue, Providence, faced multiple warrants including felony domestic assault from the Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit, fraudulent use of a credit card from the Warwick Police Department, and domestic disorderly conduct from the Cranston Police Department.
He was turned over to Massachusetts State Police at the scene.
Additionally, Jaymani Perry, 18, of 56 Irving Avenue, East Providence, was arrested by the HIDTA Task Force on Nov. 14.
Perry’s charges include carrying a pistol without a license, possession of an auto sear switch, modification of a semi-automatic weapon, and multiple counts of possessing large-capacity feeding devices.
After processing at the Lincoln Barracks, Perry was released pending future court dates.
On Nov. 24, the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Angel G.
Sanchez, 22, of 50 Homer Street, Providence, on charges including passing counterfeit notes, forgery and counterfeiting, bank fraud, and obtaining property by false pretenses.
After processing and arraignment by a Justice of the Peace, Sanchez was released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
