FAIR HAVEN — Police arrested a North Hero man on Thursday after a tip led them to his location on Main Street.

Calvin J. Lena, 28, was taken into custody at 1:15 p.m. following a warrant for his arrest.

The warrant was issued by Judge David Fenster of the Rutland District Court after Lena failed to appear for a Feb. 27 court date.

Lena faced earlier charges including Unlawful Sheltering, Possession of Narcotics, Petit Larceny, Simple Assault, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Violating Conditions of Release.

Sgt. Dale Kerber, the investigating officer, reported that Lena was released on a citation with an order to appear in court on Nov. 15.
