Stolen vehicle recovered in Hinesburg, police seek information

RICHMOND — A vehicle reported stolen earlier this month from East Main Street was recovered by police in Hinesburg on Nov. 12, officials said.

The Hinesburg Police Department located the 2018 Subaru Outback, initially stolen from 3160 E.

Main St. on the night of Nov. 6, in the driveway of a North Road residence while on patrol at about 5:25 p.m. A stolen registration plate, found attached to the vehicle, was identified as being taken from Burlington.

Authorities attempted to contact the occupants of the home where the vehicle was found, but no one responded.

The Subaru has been impounded by the Hinesburg Police Department for further investigation.

The Vermont State Police supported Hinesburg officers at the scene.
