1 min read

WATERFORD — Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify two individuals involved in a significant credit card fraud at a local Home Depot.

According to the Waterford Police Department, the suspects used a fraudulent credit card to purchase $7,074 worth of flooring.

The pair were reportedly seen leaving the scene in a U-Haul truck.

Investigators have released images of the suspects and are appealing to the community for any information that could lead to their identification.

The police have humorously noted that although they are not flooring contractors, with the public’s help, they hope to “connect the needed pieces to lay out a solid case.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Officer Colkos at [email protected] or call 860-442-9451 ext. 2243.

Tips can also be submitted through private messaging to the police department’s official social media accounts.
