WHEELOCK — A domestic disturbance in Wheelock late Friday night led to the arrest of a local woman on charges of aggravated domestic assault.
Vermont State Police responded to the scene after receiving a call about the incident at approximately 11:31 p.m. on Nov. 8.
Before arriving, troopers were informed that one of the involved parties had departed from the location.
The vehicle was spotted en route to the disturbance, and a traffic stop revealed the operator had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Troopers then interviewed the suspect, 41-year-old Natalie Marchocki, at her residence in Wheelock.
The investigation confirmed that Marchocki was responsible for the assault.
She was taken into custody and processed at the St. Johnsbury State Police Barracks.
Following her arrest, Marchocki was held without bail and transferred to the Northeast Correctional Complex (NECC).
She has been summoned to appear before the Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
