Pawtucket and Providence residents face multiple charges after traffic stops

PROVIDENCE — Multiple arrests were made by State Troopers following traffic stops in Providence, resulting in charges ranging from driving under the influence to disorderly conduct.

On Thursday, Nov. 7, at 10:47 p.m., Patrick Jackson, 36, of Pawtucket, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, with an unknown blood alcohol content, and for refusal to submit to a chemical test.

The arrest occurred during a vehicle stop on Route 95.

Jackson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and subsequently released to a responsible adult.

In a separate incident early Friday, Nov. 8, at 1:06 a.m., Deven Crews, 23, of Providence, faced charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a police officer in the execution of duty following a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue.

Crews was also processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and was issued a future court date at the Sixth Division District Court.

Less than half an hour later on the same day, at 1:29 a.m., James Dunbar, 23, of Pawtucket, was arrested on Route 146 for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, with an unknown BAC, and for refusal to submit a chemical test.

Like the others, Dunbar was taken to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
