Brookline police seek identity of suspect in school break-in, theft

BROOKLINE — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of breaking into a local school and committing larceny.

The incident, captured on surveillance footage at 8:58 p.m. on Nov. 3, shows the individual on the premises.

The Brookline Police Department described the suspect as a white male who was wearing khaki pants and a black hooded sweatshirt at the time of the alleged crime.

He was also carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or details of the incident is encouraged to contact the Brookline Police Department.

The department has not disclosed what was stolen from the school or the extent of the damage caused during the break-in.
