DANVILLE — A four-vehicle collision at the intersection of US Route 2 and Hill St resulted in traffic disruptions and one driver receiving a ticket on Saturday night.
According to the Vermont State Police, at 8:20 p.m., Dakota Johnson, 24, of Danville failed to stop at a red light, causing an accident involving three other vehicles.
The crash involved a 2017 GMC Sierra operated by Johnson, a 2019 Honda Civic driven by a 17-year-old from St. Johnsbury, a 2016 Mazda Mazda6 driven by 34-year-old Bradley Biron from Cabot, and an unoccupied 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.
Despite the extensive damages to the vehicles, including front bumper and undercarriage damage to Johnson’s GMC Sierra, heavy front-end damage to the Civic, and significant driver and passenger side damages to the Mazda6 and Mitsubishi respectively, all parties involved were wearing seatbelts and there were no reported injuries.
