Mount Holly man arrested for reckless endangerment after firing weapon

MOUNT HOLLY — A Mount Holly man was arrested late Saturday night after reportedly firing a gun during an altercation, according to Vermont State Police.

Authorities responded to a report of shots being fired at a residence on Shunpike Road at 10:39 p.m. Upon arrival, troopers interviewed victims and witnesses, which led to the arrest of 20-year-old Austin Lamb.

Lamb is accused of discharging a firearm in a manner that put several people at risk.

Following the arrest, Lamb was processed at the Rutland State Police Barracks.

He was released with a citation and is expected to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division on Nov. 18 at 10 a.m.

The Vermont State Police have not concluded their investigation into the incident and are requesting that anyone with information contact Trooper Cleaver at the Rutland Barracks.
