Motorcyclist killed in Bedford crash

BEDFORD — A 33-year-old motorcyclist from Nashua was killed in a crash on an off-ramp in Bedford, New Hampshire State Police reported.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 5:09 p.m. Troopers from Troop B responded to the scene on the off-ramp from Raymond Wieczorek Drive to South River Road.

The victim, identified as Brandon G. Roy, failed to properly execute a right-hand turn, resulting in him losing control of his green 2020 Honda motorcycle.

Despite efforts from the Bedford Fire Department to administer life-saving measures, Roy succumbed to his life-threatening injuries after being transported to Elliott Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The off-ramp was shut down for over two hours for cleanup and a detailed investigation by the State Police, reopening around 7:30 p.m.

Assisting in the response were the Bedford Police Department, Bedford Fire Department, and New Hampshire Department of Transportation personnel.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
