Charleston teen missing, police seek public’s help

CHARLESTON — Vermont State Police are seeking assistance in locating 15-year-old Lyllian Bennet, who reportedly ran away from her home on Carpenter Blvd in Charleston.

Authorities were alerted on Nov. 5 that Bennet had left her residence and efforts to find her have been unsuccessful.

Police believe she may be in the company of an individual named Ryan Rice.

The current location of both Bennet and Rice is unknown.

Members of the community with any information regarding the whereabouts of Lyllian Bennet are urged to contact the Vermont State Police Derby at 802-334-8881.

The Vermont State Police remind the public that aiding a runaway juvenile is a criminal offense and anyone found doing so may face charges.
