PROVIDENCE — A series of arrests by Rhode Island State Troopers included charges for larceny, reckless driving, and possession of controlled substances, following various incidents across the state.
Early in the morning, at 7:16 a.m., Troopers apprehended Victor Jimenez, 53, of North Providence, following a motor vehicle accident on Route 195 West in East Providence.
Jimenez was wanted on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Larceny from the Burrillville Police Department.
After processing at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, he was transferred to the custody of Burrillville Police.
Later, at 9:29 p.m., Bryan Acevedo Olavarria, 27, of Providence, was taken into custody for Reckless Driving after being stopped on Route 10 North.
Acevedo Olavarria underwent processing at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, was arraigned, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
In the early hours at 1:52 a.m., Alicia Robidoux, 50, also of Providence, faced arrest for possession of a controlled substance, specifically less than 10 grams of crack cocaine, and driving with a suspended license—her fourth or subsequent offense.
Additionally, an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the same suspended license charge, originating from the Providence Police Department, was executed following a vehicle stop on Cranston Street.
Robidoux was processed and then handed over to Providence Police after an arraignment.
