Maine police seek help finding missing 13-year-old girl

NEW SWEDEN — Maine State Police and the FBI are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 13-year-old girl from New Sweden.

Stefanie Damron was reported missing by her family on Sept. 24 after last being seen in the local area.

Stefanie is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved blue shirt, and black Harley Davidson hiking boots.

The FBI’s Boston Field Office has joined the search efforts, and authorities are urging anyone with information about Stefanie’s whereabouts to come forward.
