Vehicle stolen from Shaftsbury auto wrecking lot

SHAFTSBURY — Vermont State Police are investigating a grand larceny case after a vehicle was reported stolen from Brownell’s Auto Wrecking on White Creek Road.

Authorities were alerted on the morning of Nov. 1 to the theft of a 2010 Silver Nissan Rogue that occurred during the overnight hours.

The vehicle, which was missing its plates, had damage to the front bumper and distinctive blue/purple writing on the windows.

Police are seeking information from the public to track down the missing Nissan and identify those responsible for the crime.

Individuals with knowledge of the incident or the vehicle’s whereabouts are urged to contact the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury barracks at 802-442-5421.

A photo of the stolen Nissan Rogue has been released to aid in its recovery.
