South Burlington crash leaves teen injured, police seek hit-and-run driver

SOUTH BURLINGTON — A 17-year-old from Milton was left injured after a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 89 North on Oct. 30.

Vermont State Police reported that the two-vehicle crash occurred near Exit 14 at approximately 7:32 p.m.

The vehicle that fled the scene is described as a black or dark-colored mid-sized hatchback with possible rear-end damage, after it abruptly switched to the passing lane, causing the collision.

The victim, Ajsa Pasic, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident and have issued a call for witnesses.
