Plymouth police report over 1,000 calls, multiple arrests in weekly summary

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Police Department logged a total of 1,024 calls for service during the week of Oct. 21 to Oct. 27, with several arrests ranging from noise violations to criminal threatening, according to the department’s activity report.

The week saw a diverse array of police actions including the arrest of a 47-year-old fugitive without a warrant on Oct. 23.

Other arrests included a 69-year-old for protective custody of an intoxicated person, a 20-year-old for trespass and contempt, and a 40-year-old for driving after license suspension on Oct. 24.

Noise complaints led to the arrest of a 22-year-old for a disorderly actions ordinance violation, while a 21-year-old was arrested for violating a town ordinance on open containers on Oct. 25.

A 37-year-old faced charges for criminal threatening and disorderly conduct, and a 30-year-old was taken into protective custody for alcohol on Oct. 27.

Investigations throughout the week included reports of sexual assault, found or lost property, contempt, assisting other agencies, willful concealment, juvenile-related incidents, endangering the welfare of a child, theft, criminal mischief, violation of a protective order, burglary with a weapon, and emergency domestic violence orders.

Additionally, the department responded to one motor vehicle accident and enforced traffic laws by issuing 22 warnings and 5 citations for moving violations.

Parking enforcement was also active, with 121 parking citations issued and one vehicle immobilized for non-payment of fines.
