East Hampton arrests include disorderly conduct, identity theft

EAST HAMPTON — The East Hampton Police Department reported multiple arrests last week, including charges of disorderly conduct, identity theft, and violation of a protective order.

On Oct. 25, Jeffrey Buckland, 47, of East Hampton, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Buckland, residing at 34 E. High St., is scheduled to appear at the Middletown Superior Court on Oct. 28 at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident on the same day, Turae West, 26, of Uncasville, was taken into custody for identity theft in the second degree and larceny in the fourth degree.

West, who lives at 3 McShane Ranch Rd., was released on a $25,000 court-set surety bond.

He is due to appear in court on Nov. 5 at 9 a.m.

On Oct. 29, Justin Willette, 25, of Portland, was arrested for violating a protective order.

Willette, whose address is listed as 68 Middlesex Ave., Ext., was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond set by the department.

He was scheduled for a court appearance on the same day.

Between Oct. 21 and Oct. 27, East Hampton officers responded to 24 medical calls, eight motor vehicle accidents, 10 alarms, and made 19 traffic stops.
