BRANFORD — A 58-year-old New Haven man was arrested after brandishing a firearm at a local Subway restaurant during a dispute over an online food order, police said.
The incident occurred on Oct. 28 around 6:30 p.m. when Curt Carbone reportedly pulled out a loaded Glock 9mm during a verbal altercation at the Subway on North Main Street.
Responding officers located Carbone’s vehicle traveling on North Main Street near Cedar Street and conducted a traffic stop.
Carbone was taken into custody without incident and the weapon described by witnesses was seized.
Carbone faces charges including Threatening 2nd degree, two counts of Breach of Peace 2nd degree, and two counts of Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd degree.
He was released after posting a $15,000 bond.
The Branford Police Department is continuing their investigation into the incident.
