LYNDON — A Lyndon woman was cited for driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash late Friday night.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of a crash near the intersection of Lily Pond Road and Sam Street in Lyndon at approximately 11:13 p.m. on Oct. 25.
Upon arrival, troopers identified the driver as Marion Brown, 35, of Lyndon.
While speaking with Brown, troopers observed signs of impairment.
Brown was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
Brown’s 2016 Jeep Renegade was totaled in the crash.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities released Brown with a citation to appear at the Caledonia County Court on Nov. 18 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of DUI, first offense.
The road conditions were dry at the time of the incident, and weather was reported as clear.
