WEST YARMOUTH — Two men in their 20s were found unresponsive at Englewood Beach early Sunday and later pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital, authorities said.
Yarmouth Police responded to a call at the beach parking lot at 6:15 a.m. Oct. 27.
Officers provided immediate first aid before Yarmouth Fire/Rescue transported the men to the hospital.
The Yarmouth Police Department and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident.
Authorities have not released the identities of the deceased.
Police said they consider this an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
Officer Nicholas Giammarco, public information officer for the Yarmouth Police Department, declined to provide additional details, citing the ongoing investigation.
