WATERBURY — Police arrested three men and seized drugs and cash during a narcotics investigation Thursday in response to community complaints about drug activity.
The Waterbury Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Auto Theft Task Force, Gang Task Force and the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force conducted the operation near Bronson and Bishop streets.
Authorities confiscated $282 in cash, 40 controlled substance pills, some containing fentanyl, and crack cocaine.
Dazown Mills, 33, faces multiple charges including possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
He was held on $75,000 bond pending arraignment Friday.
Tory Crawford, 28, was charged with drug possession and interfering with an officer.
He was remanded to the Connecticut Department of Corrections for parole violation and is due in court Nov. 5.
Marquell Jones, 31, was charged with possession of hallucinogenic with intent to sell and driving with a suspended license.
He posted $20,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment Nov. 5.
Crawford has a history of assault and failure to appear charges, while Jones has previous drug arrests and convictions, police said.
