Wells man arrested for domestic assault

WELLS — Vermont State Police arrested a 35-year-old Wells man Wednesday night on charges of domestic assault.

Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a report of a family fight on Vermont Route 31 in Wells at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23.

Following an investigation, police determined Daryl Shaw had caused bodily injury to a family or household member.

Shaw was taken into custody and transported to Marble Valley Correctional Facility.

He is being held on $1,500 bail.

Police issued Shaw a citation to appear in court at a later date.

The name of the victim was not released, as Vermont State Police do not identify victims of domestic violence.
