NORTH HAVEN — Police arrested a 72-year-old Stratford man on multiple charges related to the alleged sexual assault of a minor, authorities said Thursday.
Mark Keith Pasquariello was taken into custody on Oct. 10 following an extensive investigation, according to the North Haven Police Department.
The arrest stemmed from allegations of inappropriate comments and physical contact with a juvenile victim.
A forensic interview with the minor resulted in multiple disclosures, leading to an arrest warrant being secured in early October.
Pasquariello faces two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, one count of risk of injury to a minor, and two counts of illegal sexual contact with a minor.
Authorities did not release further details about the case or the identity of the victim to protect their privacy.
