Holden man arrested on multiple drug and firearm charges

HOLDEN — A 27-year-old Holden resident was arrested Thursday following a police raid that uncovered illegal firearms and drugs at a Manning Street residence in Jefferson.

Jeffery Ruggieri faces multiple charges after Holden Police, assisted by the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council SWAT team and Worcester ATF Task Force officers, executed a search warrant at 3:15 p.m. Oct. 24.

The operation stemmed from an investigation by Holden detectives into illegal firearms and drug possession.

Authorities recovered a stolen firearm and illegal narcotics during the search.

Ruggieri was taken into custody and charged with several offenses, including:

– Possession of a firearm without FID card (subsequent offense)
– Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
– Two counts of firearm violation with one prior violent/drug crime
– Possession of ammunition without FID card
– Improper storage of a firearm
– Possession with intent to distribute Class A (Fentanyl)
– Possession with intent to distribute Class B (Percocet)
– Two counts of possession of Class E drugs
– Receiving stolen property under $1,200

Ruggieri is being held pending arraignment.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
