MANCHESTER — A juvenile suspect is in custody following a violent altercation outside a 7-Eleven store that left two teens injured, Manchester Police said.
Officers on patrol near Beech St and Valley St witnessed the assault around 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 23.
A group of males were seen attacking a 17-year-old male who was on the ground.
The police presence caused the assailants to flee, but one 14-year-old was apprehended after a brief chase.
The victim, initially fleeing, returned to the scene when called by an officer.
He received medical attention at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
In a related incident, another 17-year-old male arrived at the hospital with stab wounds.
Authorities later confirmed these injuries were connected to the same 7-Eleven confrontation.
