SEBEC — Maine State Police are calling on hunters in the area to remain vigilant for any evidence that might lead to the discovery of Diana Estey, a Medford woman who has been missing for over six years.

Authorities have yet to find any trace of Estey, despite thorough searches by the Maine Warden Service, State Police, and the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office.

Estey, who was 71 at the time of her disappearance, was last seen at her residence on Medford Center Road in November of 2016.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 95 pounds, with gray hair and glasses.

As hunting season progresses, officials are asking those in the woods to report anything that may be linked to Estey’s case.

The State Police emphasize the importance of community assistance in these ongoing efforts to locate her.

Individuals with information are encouraged to contact the State Police in Bangor at 207.973.3700.

The combined efforts of law enforcement and the public continue in hope of resolving the disappearance of Diana Estey.
