Boston police seek public’s help to identify armed suspect in Roxbury

BOSTON — Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s District B-2 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a gun-related incident in Roxbury.

The event occurred around 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, near 87 Devon Street.

Authorities are searching for a light-skinned black male with dreads featuring shells or beads at their ends.

At the time of the incident, he was clad in a black shirt, black pants, and white sneakers.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the situation and urges anyone with information to contact the District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

The department assures that the identities of individuals providing anonymous tips will be kept confidential.
