Watertown police investigate stabbing, victim hospitalized

WATERTOWN — At approximately 5 p.m. today, Watertown Police responded to reports of a stabbing at the corner of Mt. Auburn St. and Boylston St.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim who had sustained a stab wound to the lower back following an altercation with three males.

The injured party was promptly transported to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Authorities have indicated that the stabbing does not appear to be a random act and are actively pursuing leads in the case.
