New Hampshire State Police seek witnesses in I-89 road rage incident

WARNER — The New Hampshire State Police are calling for witnesses to come forward following a road rage incident on Interstate 89 that involved the brandishing of a firearm.

The event occurred at 6:10 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, when the State Police were alerted to a confrontation between two motorists.

The driver of a black Honda sedan, bearing New York plates, reportedly displayed a gun to another driver while heading north on I-89 near Warner.

Authorities later apprehended the Honda’s driver in Lebanon.

The suspect, Tyler Hance, 31, of Moira, New York, was identified as having engaged in the road rage incident that began in Concord.

Reports also indicated that Hance was driving erratically, reaching high speeds, and overtaking other vehicles using the breakdown lane.

Following the incident, Hance was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal threatening.

He has since been released on personal recognizance and is expected to appear in Concord District Court.

State Police are now seeking others who witnessed the incident, especially those with dashcam recordings.
