NEW DURHAM — A local man was taken into custody Tuesday evening following a disturbance that involved gunfire, according to New Hampshire State Police.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, when Troopers from the Troop A barracks were dispatched to a residence on Quaker Road.
Upon arrival, they discovered that an argument between two individuals had escalated, leading to one of them, identified as James Robinson, 29, of New Durham, firing multiple shots from several firearms.
Robinson was arrested without further incident and faces three felony counts of reckless conduct, felony theft by unauthorized taking, as well as citations for criminal trespass and unauthorized use of a firearm.
Following his refusal to post bail, Robinson is currently detained at the Strafford County Department of Corrections.
He is expected to be arraigned at the Rochester District Court today, October 23.
