Keene police serve search warrant in ongoing investigation

KEENE — The Keene Police Department executed a search warrant on Oct. 22 at a residence on 193 Island St as part of an ongoing criminal probe, officials said.

The department, which has provided no additional details on the warrant service, reassured the public there is no known threat.

The latest action follows an earlier operation conducted from Oct. 17 into Oct. 18, in collaboration with the New Hampshire State Police, at the same address.

This initial raid resulted in multiple arrests as part of the same investigation.

Among those detained were 25-year-old Karen Miner on a Superior Court capias, 41-year-old Andrea Martin on a simple assault warrant, and 31-year-old Christian Torruellas on three counts of sale of a controlled drug.

After her arrest, Martin was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment at the 8th Circuit Court- Keene on Nov. 25.

Torruellas was held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections and was arraigned on Oct. 18, where he was ordered held in preventative detention.

The investigation remains active, and authorities have indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming.
