NEW LONDON — A juvenile pedestrian was hit by a car near 33 Ocean Ave. at approximately 3:13 p.m. today, according to the New London Police Department.
The victim was transported to L+M Hospital to receive further medical treatment.
The vehicle involved in the accident initially fled the scene.
The NLPD is actively investigating the incident.
