Silver alert issued for missing Concord man

CONCORD — The New Hampshire State Police, in coordination with the Concord Police Department, have activated the Missing Vulnerable Adult/Silver Alert System to aid in the search for Steven Ironside, a 70-year-old man last seen on Monday at 5:45 p.m.

Ironside was reported missing after he walked away from the vicinity of 20 Maitland Street.

He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 240 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black shorts, a North Face jacket, and Sketcher shoes.

He was also carrying a black backpack and a Market Basket bag.

Family members have expressed concern for his well-being, stating that Ironside suffers from dementia and has other health issues.

The public is urged to assist in the search.

Anyone with information on Ironside’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Concord Police Department at (603) 225-8600.

Witnesses who see him are advised to call 911 immediately.
