OXFORD — A construction worker was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Rt 67 and Rt 42 on Oct. 22, Connecticut State Police from the Oxford Resident Trooper’s Office reported.
Authorities responded to the scene where it was determined that the worker was struck by the driver’s side mirror of the vehicle.
The pedestrian, who remained alert following the incident, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The accident is currently under investigation by the Connecticut State Police, and further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
The name of the pedestrian and the driver involved have not been disclosed at this time.
