BROOKLINE — Brookline Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of shoplifting at a Commonwealth Avenue retail store on Oct. 16.
The individual in question is described as a white male in his mid-30s to early 40s.
He was last seen wearing a black North Face winter hat, a grey North Face hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, black sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.
Authorities have not disclosed what items were taken from the store but urge anyone who recognizes the man or has any relevant information to come forward.

The department hopes that with the help of community members, they will be able to resolve the case promptly.
