EAST GREENWICH — At 2:40 a.m., Rhode Island State Troopers apprehended Trevoy Campbell, 25, of Providence, on charges of being a fugitive from justice in connection with a vehicle theft case from Seekonk, Massachusetts.
Campbell was detained following a vehicle stop on Division Street.
The fugitive from justice charge stems from an original accusation of theft and stripping a vehicle as issued by the Seekonk Police Department.
Following the arrest, Campbell was transported to the State Police-Wickford Barracks for processing.
He was held overnight and is slated for a morning arraignment.
