ROCHESTER — Milton Police have issued a missing persons alert for two juveniles last seen near 619 Governors Rd in Milton.
Authorities stated a 13-year-old female, approximately 5 feet tall, weighing 115 pounds with brown eyes and dark blonde hair, and a 16-year-old male, roughly 6 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds with green eyes and light brown hair, are missing.
The female was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, while the male’s attire included a hoodie.
Police report that the two left the area on foot.
A police K-9 unit tracked them through trails to Hare Road, where evidence suggests they may have been picked up by a vehicle.
The Milton Police Department urges anyone with information or who sees individuals matching these descriptions to call 603-652-4500 or 9-1-1 immediately.
In response to public inquiries, authorities provided clarification on the use of Amber Alerts.
Amber Alerts are issued when there is a confirmed abduction, the child is believed to be in immediate danger of serious bodily harm or death, and there is enough descriptive information about the child, abductor, and any vehicles involved to aid in their location.
The police emphasized that while the two juveniles are currently considered missing, there is no confirmed abduction at this time.
