Man faces multiple charges after traffic stop in Lyndon

LYNDON — A 22-year-old Granby man was arrested on multiple charges, including driving under the influence, after a traffic stop late Saturday night.

Vermont State Police said they pulled over Owen Ainsworth at about 9:40 p.m. on Route 114 for numerous motor vehicle violations.

During the stop, troopers discovered Ainsworth was driving with a criminally suspended license and provided false information to police.

Ainsworth was taken into custody and transported to the state police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.

He was issued a citation to appear at the Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 4 at 8:30 a.m.
