EAST MONTPELIER — A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of VT Rt 14 and US RT 2 led to the arrest of an East Calais man on suspicion of driving under the influence and negligent operation, Vermont State Police said.
Troopers responded to the crash site on Oct. 19 at about 5:03 p.m., where they identified 47-year-old Sean Hoover as the driver at fault.
According to the police, Hoover appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants during the incident.
After a thorough investigation, Hoover was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
He was later released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on charges related to the incident.
