NASHUA — The Nashua Police Department is investigating multiple reports of a man assaulting women at Mine Falls Park, with incidents occurring over the past several days, officials said.
According to police, officers were called to the park on Oct. 16 around 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a man physically attacking female park-goers.
There have been five known incidents to date, with the assailant described as a white male around 30 years old, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, dressed in all black and wearing a white N95-type mask.
Witnesses report the suspect has been riding a mountain bike along the trails, slapping women from behind as he passes them, then quickly riding away.
No injuries have been reported so far, but detectives are actively investigating these assaults.
The Nashua Police Department urges anyone who may have been a victim of a similar attack, or who has information about the suspect, to contact the Nashua Police Department Crime Line at (603) 589-1665.
In response to these events, officials recommend that individuals visiting Mine Falls Park exercise caution and consider traveling with a companion to ensure their safety.
Police have released a photo of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
