BLOOMFIELD — Police recovered a stolen vehicle and apprehended three juvenile suspects in Hartford on Oct. 17 after deploying a tire deflation device to disable the car.
Officers located the stolen vehicle on Cottage Grove Road and pursued it to Burnham Street in Hartford, where they successfully used the device to halt the car.
The three suspects fled on foot but were quickly taken into custody by the responding officers.
Investigations revealed that the juveniles had stolen the vehicle by breaking a rear window and disabling the ignition.
The apprehension of the suspects occurred without injury to the officers or the public.
The juveniles are now facing charges related to the theft of the vehicle.
