WESTBOROUGH — A masked individual is being sought by the Westborough Police Department after a series of thefts at West Meadow Plaza late Saturday night, according to Chief Minardi.

The suspect reportedly entered Sun Catcher Tanning Spa at 166 Milk Street around 9:57 p.m., where security cameras captured him removing the cash drawer, isolating it in a side room, and taking the money.

He then moved on to the adjacent Spices Punjabi Dhaba, entering through the back and taking cash from the front counter.

The spree continued at JP’s Pub and Restaurant, accessed through the men’s restroom of the restaurant.

The suspect broke through the drywall and, once inside, located the cash box in the office, taking cash but leaving behind checks and change.

Described as a male dressed in a green hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, sneakers, and a ski mask, the suspect also wore latex-coated work gloves during the thefts.

Westborough detectives are working with authorities from nearby towns that have reported similar crimes.
