Warwick man arrested on child molestation, pornography charges

WARWICK — A Rhode Island man was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges related to child molestation and child pornography.

Jeremy Giguere, 37, of Warwick, was taken into custody by members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on charges of first-degree child molestation, production of child pornography, and possession of child pornography.

Giguere was processed at the Wickford Barracks following his arrest.

He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, held without bail, and subsequently transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI).

The arrest followed an investigation by the task force, but further details about the case were not immediately released.
