COVENTRY — Today at approximately 8:15 a.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred on Main Street, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles involved, but no injuries, according to Vermont State Police.
Rebecca Johnson, 42, of Coventry, was backing her 2021 Toyota Prius onto the roadway from her driveway when she collided with a northbound 2023 Toyota Rav4 operated by Iris Moultroup, 24, also a resident of Coventry.
The rear bumper, hatch, and left rear quarter panel of Johnson’s Prius sustained damage, while the front end of Moultroup’s Rav4 was damaged in the crash.
Both Johnson and Moultroup were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident.
The weather was clear and sunny with dry blacktop conditions, which helped in avoiding personal injuries during the accident.
The vehicles were towed from the scene as the investigation continued.
