Richford residence struck by gunfire, no injuries reported

RICHFORD — On the evening of Oct. 16, Vermont State Police were called to a scene on Home Street where a residence had been fired upon.

At approximately 8:20 p.m., troopers responded to the report of gunfire and discovered shell casings on the roadway.

The residence sustained damage with bullet holes marking the glass and siding.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.

Authorities have indicated that the shooting appears to be an isolated event and does not pose an ongoing threat to the community.

The Vermont State Police are actively investigating the matter and are seeking assistance from the public.

Individuals with any information related to the shooting are urged to contact the St. Albans Barracks of the Vermont State Police.
