NEWFANE — A local lawn care business has fallen victim to theft after a distinctive yellow Cub Cadet zero turn lawn mower was stolen from their property on Grimes Hill Road.
Misty Leaf Lawn Care reported the mower, identifiable by green paint marks on the rear bumper bar, missing during the early morning hours of Oct. 10.
The theft has left the company without one of its primary pieces of equipment and seeking the community’s assistance in locating the stolen mower.
The Vermont State Police are investigating the incident and have asked that anyone with information regarding the theft or those involved contact Trooper Romeo at the Westminster Barracks at 802-722-4600.
Individuals wishing to remain anonymous may also submit tips online at vsp.vermont.gov/tipsubmit.
Authorities have not released any suspect information at this time and continue to encourage residents to keep their properties secure and report any suspicious activity.
