GOFFSTOWN — A road rage confrontation escalated into a potentially deadly encounter on Mast Road when a 19-year-old Goffstown man allegedly brandished a pistol and threatened another driver, according to Goffstown Police Department.

Authorities responded to the scene near Hannaford’s on the afternoon of Oct. 15 after receiving reports of the incident involving a firearm.

The initial clash occurred on Mast Road and resulted in a minor vehicle collision between two cars.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the cars had moved into the Hannaford’s parking lot after the collision.

It was there that Anthony Milillo, the 19-year-old driver of one of the vehicles, reportedly exited his car and approached the other driver, who was still inside his vehicle.

Witnesses told police that Milillo pulled out a pistol and pressed it against the window on the driver’s side of the other vehicle, directly threatening the driver seated inside.

Following their investigation, Goffstown Police charged Milillo with Criminal Threatening with a Firearm, a class B felony, and Negligent Driving, a violation.

Milillo was held without bail pending his arraignment, scheduled for Oct. 16.
