Worcester police arrest three on drug trafficking charges

WORCESTER — Three men were arrested on charges of trafficking cocaine and fentanyl after a vice squad operation on Oct. 14.

Worcester Police Department’s Vice Squad obtained a search warrant for a residence on Perry Avenue.

At 5:14 p.m., Elvin Delacruz, 38, left the address and was subsequently stopped and arrested by police without incident.

Upon executing the search warrant at the Perry Avenue location, officers discovered Erick Urbaez, 36, and Jean Rosario, 31, inside the residence along with a significant quantity of drugs, paraphernalia, and cash.

Authorities seized approximately 112 grams of fentanyl and 157 grams of cocaine during the operation.

Delacruz, Urbaez, and Rosario are each charged with trafficking a Class A substance (fentanyl) in the amount of 100-100 grams and trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine) in the amount of 100-199 grams.
