Vermont State Police search for runaway teen near NH border

STRAFFORD — Vermont State Police from the Royalton Barracks were called to a Strafford home at approximately 12:12 a.m. on Oct. 15 after 16-year-old Gia Liddiard was reported missing.

According to authorities, Liddiard ran away from her residence at 169 Alger Brook Road, located near the Vermont and New Hampshire border.

Her guardians informed troopers that Liddiard might be in White River Junction, planning to board a FLIX Bus destined for either Boston or Chicago.

State Police have circulated Liddiard’s photo and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.
