ST. ALBANS — A series of thefts from motor vehicles in St. Albans Town led police to arrest 47-year-old Jenny Pecor on Oct. 13.

The St. Albans Police Department responded to multiple calls about thefts and attempted thefts along Maquam Shore Road.

Home surveillance videos provided by residents assisted in quickly identifying Pecor, who is currently unhoused in the St. Albans area.

Following her arrest, Pecor was held on $600 bail for the related offenses.

She has been involved in 14 pending court cases in recent weeks and is considered a person of interest in 27 additional cases, with investigations still underway.

The police encourage anyone with information regarding these incidents or other criminal activities to contact the St. Albans Police Department at (802) 524-2166, visit their website at www.stalbanspd.com, or reach out through their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/StAlbansPoliceDept.

Officials note that decisions regarding bail and incarceration are managed by the Judicial System, which includes Judges, Court Clerks, and the State Attorney’s Office, not the police department.
